"Magic in the Mundane"

Queen of the vines
This lady in white
Her soft, shining petals
An artist’s delight

Queen of the vines
Her majesty clear
Her blossom occurs
But once every year

Queen of the vines
With most unusual throne
A drab, dreary lattice
Of mundane tone

Queen of the vines
Her regal address
Is full of some magic
Of art nonetheless

Queen of the vines
Her kingdom you seek?
On a side street in New Hope
By small, quiet creek

Queen of the vines
A most delicate plant
Her radiant likeness
Shall lure and enchant
