After “Morning Heights” I wanted to paint another mountain scene, but this time from a more distant angle.  I really enjoyed adding the light green to give the mountains depth and the pine trees were a nice change from the oaks and maples in my usual paintings.  The most difficult part was creating areas of interest in the foreground.  I probably should have added a bear hunting trout or salmon, but wanted to move on to another scene.
