…is an award winning artist in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was born and raised in west-central Louisiana and is the fourth of five children. With the support and aid of his family he entered Northwestern State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fine and Graphic Arts with a concentration in Studio Art.
After graduation, Timothy began working for local paper and lumber mills as a pulpwood weigh master. His desire to be self-employed and his love for painting led him to pay off all his debt and set out as a local portrait artist. In mid 2018 he met his wife, Sara, who after seeing his work, encouraged him to move north and begin a new chapter in his life as a landscape painter.
Recently, Timothy fulfilled a long-time dream of becoming an indie game developer. His first game I Am Lewis is now available to Wishlist on Steam!
Timothy currently lives in Langhorne, PA. Aside from painting he enjoys afternoon walks, occasionally playing video games, having coffee with friends, viewing local art, and watching various artists on YouTube create their own works of art.
…is a self-taught graphic/web designer, photographer, and videographer. She handles all the behind-the-scenes tasks of Perceiving Light and assists Timothy in all his business endeavors.
When Sara was four years old, she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. In spite of a very sickly childhood, it wasn’t until Sara was fourteen and started having paralysis that she discovered she still had Lyme.
After numerous years of intensive antibiotic and herbal therapies, most of Sara’s symptoms were brought under control, but she was left with the after-effects of chronic illness and such aggressive treatments.
Today, Sara still struggles with her physical limitations but is grateful for the experiences God has given her. She can even rejoice in her sufferings, “knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5
