This is Goat Hill Overlook in Lambertville, NJ. It was a beautiful sunny, summer day but the place was empty of people.  With the epic cloud formations passing by overhead and the young buck blending into the dense foliage below, I couldn’t resist painting this scene.  You can actually see two bridges and other buildings from this vantage point, but I left them out, wanting to portray the place in all its natural beauty.
