One of our commenters on YouTube described this painting best…”the sunlight never ceases to come through no matter where we are in our worlds.”  Originally, I finished this piece without adding that ray of sunshine, but it felt too dark, too dreary and devoid of life.  I hope that the warm glow of the sun reminds other viewers that even when life is empty, the sun can and will shine again.
