This piece was commissioned by some clients.  It was a bit tricky since the original photo was in broad daylight and they wanted a nighttime Christmas scene, but my clients had a clear idea of the look they wanted and were a pleasure to work with.  Building scenes are always tougher than nature landscapes with all the straight lines and level of precision required, but once I had the general shapes and siding finished, I could relax a little and have some fun with the lighting and colors.
