After doing a lot of colorful fall paintings, I wanted to go back to a more evergreen landscape.  This scene caught my eye with its dramatic cliffs and rough water.  It actually took several reworkings to get the river the way I wanted, but the rocks were effortless and I’m satisfied with the piece as a whole.  Sara says it reminds her of the old Sonic the Hedgehog video game on Sega lol.
