This painting was inspired by some of the misty mornings Sara and I have encountered while walking.  I did some similar scenes in the past, but they all had the bright, vivid colors of fall.  This time, I wanted a softer, quieter palette to complement the misty view.  I really enjoyed playing with the gradients of the leaves and the grass disappearing into the mist.
