Here’s what the artist had to say about this artwork:
With summer getting hotter, I wanted to paint some waterfalls to help me stay in a “cool” frame of mind. This scene struck me with its craggy rocks and refreshing pool. Completely changing the light from the original photo was a challenge, but I had a lot of fun creating the sunburst and playing with the texture of the water.
