After “Unleashed” I wanted to try another lightning painting, but this time a bit more unusual.  The bright oranges in this scene caught my eye and I loved playing around with the gradients in the clouds and water.  It was difficult achieving the softness in the clouds without sacrificing the brilliance of the lightning, but overall I’m satisfied with how this piece turned out.
