I really enjoyed painting “Under the Sea” and it made me want to do another beach scene.  I’m actually not very satisfied with how this piece turned out.  The foreground perspective was rather challenging and it still feels a bit off to me.  I told Sara how much trouble I had with it so she named the painting “On the Rocks.”  It was definitely a rocky experience—pun intended!
