Sara and I took a road trip to many of the covered bridges of Bucks County. This one is located in Perkasie where she often visited her grandparents as a child. We had a picnic lunch here and reminisced about those days. That’s the feeling that I wanted to capture in this piece—lazy summer days picnicking with friends and family—enjoying good food and warm, sunny weather.

I grew up in Perkasie and as a child spent time at the covered bridge on Blooming Glen Road fishing and looking under creek rocks for crayfish. Purchasing this quality print was an opportunity to have a remembrance of my youth. The was mailed in sturdy packaging and arrived without any problem.
