I needed a break from winter snow and decided to try another beach scene.  This painting has actually become one of my favorites.  I love the calm colors and simple lines.  It was nice to take a looser approach to the sky and the boat had some fun texture to it.  The only challenge was the palm trees and even those went relatively smoothly.
