This is the companion piece to “Radiating Grace.” That painting was a challenge because of all the movement, this one was a challenge because of the reflection. My favorite part was creating the streaks and spots of sunlight on the water. I wanted both this piece and “Radiating Grace” to have a magical quality, and the way the setting sun skimmed across the water made that easy.
