After painting a great predator of the sea, I thought it’d be cool to paint a great predator of the sky.  This eagle captured my imagination with his fierce expression and dangerous vibe.  I had fun with the color scheme; playing up the blues and browns to accentuate his bright orange beak and eyes.  The eyes were actually my favorite part.  It was a lot of fun creating the sense of threat and danger in them.
