I’ve enjoyed painting waterfalls in the past, and this scene was no exception.  Although the sun burst was a bit challenging, the water texture was fun to play with.  I wanted this piece to feel cool and refreshing but also a little mysterious, so I kept the background soft and the color palette somewhat monochrome.
